One product, one promise
We install one thing, and that focus is the point.
We install the Interlock® roofing system: interlocking aluminum panels manufactured by Interlock Roofing. We are not a general roofing company that also offers metal. This system is all we do, and we have done it since 1997.
An Idaho roof works through spring and summer hail, months of freezing nights and sunny afternoons, snow that climbs from the valley floor to the mountains, wildfire embers wherever homes meet the foothills or rangeland, and long, hot summers. Aluminum absorbs no water, contains no iron to rust, does not ignite, and locks on four sides with the fasteners concealed. The manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty covers the material and finish for the original purchaser while they own the home, and transfers once when you sell.

Where we stand
One system, installed since 1997
Since 1997
Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. was founded on October 29, 1997, and the Better Business Bureau accredited it on November 3, 2011. The company has installed one roofing system from the start, in Oregon and Washington.
One system
We install the Interlock® roofing system and nothing else: heavy-gauge aluminum panels made by Interlock Roofing, locked on all four edges with the fasteners concealed. We are the certified and exclusive Interlock® installer in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
Made in North America
The panels are manufactured by Interlock Roofing at its plant in Delta, BC. We sell, install and answer for them from our Boise office, so the people who quote your roof are the company that puts it on.
Idaho
Idaho is a new market for us. We serve Boise and the Treasure Valley first from our office at 3295 W Elder St, Suite 209, Boise, and we will not show Idaho install counts or Idaho reviews until we have them.
Checkable
Our registrations are public. Idaho General Contractor Registration (DOPL) #6181938, Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) License #130826 and Washington State Contractor Registration (L&I) #INTERMR75406. Ask any roofer for theirs, and look it up before you sign.
Credentials
Licensed, accredited and accountable, in writing
Every claim on this page can be checked against a public record, a standards body, or the warranty document itself.
Registered in Idaho, licensed in Oregon and Washington
Idaho General Contractor Registration (DOPL) #6181938, Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) License #130826 and Washington State Contractor Registration (L&I) #INTERMR75406. Each one can be looked up on the state's own register: Idaho DOPL public license search, Oregon CCB contractor search and Washington L&I “Verify a Contractor”.
BBB A+, accredited since 2011
Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. has been a BBB Accredited Business since November 3, 2011, rated A+. The profile is public and shows every complaint and our response. We are also a Metal Roofing Alliance member and a GuildQuality member.
Made in North America
Every Interlock® panel we install is manufactured by Interlock Roofing at its plant in Delta, BC, and installed by our own company from our Boise office. The manufacturer makes the panels and issues the material warranty; we sell, install and service the roof.
One product, described accurately
Aluminum with up to 95% recycled content, about 0.41 to 0.59 lb per square foot installed depending on profile (ICC-ES ESR-1790), four-way interlocking panels with concealed fasteners, and the AAMA 2605 Alunar® coating system. Class A Fire Rated Available, as a complete assembly. Minimum 3/12 roof slope on every profile.
No borrowed proof
Idaho is new for us, so this site has no Idaho reviews and no Idaho roof counts yet. We won't put another state's reviews or roofs on an Idaho page to make it look fuller.
A material warranty that transfers
The manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty covers material and finish for the original purchaser while they own the home, and transfers once: the second owner is covered to 50 years from substantial completion. Workmanship is excluded from it; the installation is covered separately by our 10 Year Limited Labor Warranty. Read the terms and exclusions before you sign.

FAQs
About us, answered directly
Who installs Interlock metal roofs in Idaho?
Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc., from our Boise office (3295 W Elder St, Suite 209, Boise, ID 83705). We are the certified and exclusive Interlock® installer in Idaho, Oregon and Washington, in business since 1997, serving Boise, the Treasure Valley and southwest Idaho.
Is Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. the same company as the manufacturer?
No. Interlock Roofing manufactures the panels at its plant in Delta, BC, and issues the Guardian material warranty. We are the installer that sells, installs and services them, from our Boise office in Idaho.
Are you registered in Idaho?
Yes. Idaho General Contractor Registration (DOPL) #6181938, Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) License #130826 and Washington State Contractor Registration (L&I) #INTERMR75406. Look each one up yourself on the state's register (Idaho DOPL public license search, Oregon CCB contractor search and Washington L&I “Verify a Contractor”) rather than taking a number on trust, and ask any contractor for theirs. Idaho registers contractors; it does not license roofers separately.
How long have you been in business?
Since October 29, 1997. Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. has been a BBB Accredited Business since November 3, 2011 and holds an A+ rating.
How many roofs have you installed in Idaho?
None published yet. Idaho is a new market for us, and we will not show Idaho roofs or reviews until we have them. The company has installed Interlock® roofs in Oregon and Washington since 1997.
Who manufactures the roofing you install?
Interlock Roofing, at its plant in Delta, BC. The panels are aluminum with up to 95% recycled content, interlock on all four edges and carry the Alunar® coating system. The manufacturer publishes its own certifications at interlockroofing.com.
Does an aluminum roof hold up to Idaho weather?
Aluminum absorbs no water, so freeze–thaw has nothing to split; it sheds snow; it does not ignite, which matters for wildfire embers; and four Interlock profiles (Slate, Cedar Shingle, Shake and Mediterranean Tile) carry a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating, verified by Intertek for Delta Building Products.
Can you roof a house in a historic district?
Often, but the decision belongs to the city, not to us. In Boise, the city's Historic Preservation staff say exterior work in a historic district, including demolition of any part of a building such as the roof, needs a Certificate of Appropriateness before a building permit can be issued. We can supply profiles, colors and product documents for that review.
